Organic social tiles or Meta ads: which should you start with?
Start with Meta ads if you want new customers soon and can set aside an ad budget, and start with organic social tiles if you mainly need a consistent, professional presence for people who already know or follow you. Many businesses end up using both: organic to look credible, ads to reach new people.
What each one is
- Organic social tiles are designed posts for your own Facebook, Instagram or similar pages. They cost nothing to show, and reach comes mainly from people who follow you and what the platform chooses to show.
- Meta ads are paid placements in Feed, Stories and Reels. You choose the audience and budget, and they can reach people who have never heard of you.

Things to know
- Organic reach for business pages is often limited, so do not expect posts alone to bring many new people.
- Ads need ad spend paid to Meta on top of the creative, plus tracking so you can see what they achieve.
- The two feed each other. Strong organic content gives people something to find after they click an ad.
- Both need fresh content. A tired page and a tired ad cost you in similar ways.
