01 / A DIFFERENT KIND OF WORK NETWORK

A little under the radar.
A lot of possibility.

FOR THE MOONLIGHTERS

You’ve got a skill.
Give it a side project.

That thing you’re brilliant at? Someone needs it. Tell us what you do, what you’d love to work on, and the hours you have to spare.

I’m looking for side work
FOR THE CLIENTS

You’ve got a project.
Find your person.

A website that needs building. A launch that needs a brain. An ops problem that won’t fix itself. Get experienced help, without a full-time hire.

I’ve got a project

LESS BROADCAST.
MORE POSSIBILITY.

Keep the day job.
Make the night move.

Start with an alias. Share the experience, skip the employer names. We’re building a network where an introduction happens only when both sides are interested.

For now, this is an early-interest list. Matching comes next.

02 / GET IN EARLY

Your next chapter.
Off the record.*

We’re bringing the first Moonlighters together. Tell us a little about yourself and we’ll be in touch as the network takes shape.

A fresh inbox. A fresh start.

Use a separate Gmail that doesn’t include your real name. Pick an alias and leave identifying details out of your experience.

*Private from public view, not invisible to us. The Moonlighters team can see your submission. A separate email isn’t a guarantee of anonymity.

03 / FAIR QUESTIONS

The lowdown.

Is this actually anonymous?+

Your registration isn’t published. An alias and a separate email help keep your day-job identity out of it, but our team can see what you submit. Don’t include employer names, identifiable client work or confidential information. We can’t promise absolute anonymity.

Can I do this alongside my day job?+

That’s the idea. Check your employment agreement, conflicts of interest and any required permissions first. Use your own time, equipment and work. Moonlighters is for legitimate side projects.

What happens after I register?+

We’re collecting interest on both sides. There are no public profiles or automatic matches yet. The team will review registrations and contact people as early access and suitable opportunities become available. Registering doesn’t guarantee work or a match.

Does it cost anything?+

Joining the early-interest list is free. Any future matching or platform fees will be explained before you commit.

Can I register on both sides?+

Absolutely. Submit once as talent and once as a client. Keep the private removal link from each registration if you want to remove either later.

A note on privacy.

Moonlighters collects the alias, email, location and work or project details you choose to submit, along with your consent and registration time. This is an interest list, not a public directory.

The Moonlighters operator and authorised team use this information to review interest and contact you about the launch and relevant opportunities. Your information is stored with Cloudflare and may be processed outside New Zealand. We do not sell it, publish it or share your profile with prospective matches without asking first.

Submitting is optional. Required fields help us understand where you fit. Avoid real names, employer names and confidential material if you want to keep your identity separate. A new email does not make you fully anonymous. Cloudflare processes technical connection data to deliver and protect the site; the application does not store your IP address in your registration.

We keep registrations for up to 12 months unless you remove yours sooner or separately agree to move into the live service. Use the private link shown after signup to delete your registration. To correct it, remove it and register again. Deletions remove the active record; service backups may retain it temporarily under Cloudflare’s backup lifecycle.

Keep your private removal link somewhere safe; it is your access key for removing this interest registration.
