How much does a monthly ad creative subscription cost in NZ?
Moonlighters monthly creative plans start at $149 a month for organic social tiles and $199 a month for Meta image ads, rising to $449 and $599 for the Scale plan. Prices are in NZD per month, excluding GST where applicable.
What the plans cost
Each plan is a fixed monthly price for a set number of strategic concepts. Every concept is supplied in both Feed and Story sizes, so the finished file count is double the concept count.

Compare quotes by cost per finished file
The most useful way to compare any creative quote is to divide the monthly price by the number of finished, ready-to-upload files. On our standard prices that works out as:
- Starter, Meta ads: $19.90 per finished file (10 files)
- Growth, Meta ads: $17.45 per finished file (20 files)
- Scale, Meta ads: $14.98 per finished file (40 files)
Ask any provider the same questions: how many different concepts, how many files in each size, and what is included beyond the files.
What drives the price
- Number of concepts. A concept is a distinct idea, such as a different benefit, objection or offer, not a colour change. More concepts means more strategy and production.
- Sizes and formats. Feed and Story each need their own layout. Video and photography are scoped separately from these plans.
- Strategy versus production only. Some services only resize or restyle what you supply. A creative strategy (research, angle mapping, a monthly roadmap, testing priorities) is extra thinking that sits behind the files.
- Copy. Whether the headline and primary text are written for you or you supply them.
- Revisions. Our plans include one consolidated revision round per batch; a new direction counts as a new concept.
- Management. Publishing and campaign management are separate services. Check whether a quote includes them.
What is not included in the price
Ad spend paid to Meta is separate and goes straight to Meta. Our plans cover creative only. Publishing, campaign management, photography and video are scoped separately.
How billing works
Payment is monthly in advance by card through Stripe. There is no lock-in contract and you can cancel before your next renewal. Unused concepts expire each month; if a delay is on our side they carry forward.
